Project:
VISION is currently offering the following programs:
Project: Youth Initiative
This program provides community service projects throughout the year. The group will lead our efforts to increase volunteerism and spread the word about the importance of social service to other youth in our community!
This
summer, Project: VISION is partnering with the Asian Health Coalition to
build awareness in the community about underage drinking. Students
will participate in 4 service learning projects on Mondays July 19 and
26 and August 2 and 9 from 1-5p at the PV Center to create materials such as fact
sheets, brochures, and posters to spread awareness. Students will
be able to earn 16 service learning hours.

Summer
Programs 2010
Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, Thursdays from July 6- August 12th
This year we
will be offering the following:

Weekly
photography classes- Students will learn about basics of photography,
how to use a digital camera, and how to do digital photo editing.

Weekly
service learning activities- Youth will be able to earn service learning
hours for school by attending educational workshops on various
environmental issues and participating in community service projects.

Weekly fun
group activities and fieldtrips.

Homework Tutoring
All year round
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 3-7pm
We offer homework tutoring in a variety of subjects after school. Tutors are available to answer questions and help with homework problems. Please stop by the Center to sign up for this program.
ACT Prep Class
Jan 11 - April 17, Saturdays 1-3pm
This is a class for high school juniors preparing to take the ACT college entrance exam. We will be reviewing all subjects including English, Math, Reading, and Science. Students will get plenty of practice with mock exams. Class will be once per week for 2 hours. Please email us at projectvision2003@yahoo.com or
